arrow The NinjaSpeed Challenge!
Can you be quick like ninja? The NinjaSpeed Challenge is a competition for who can capture the flag the fastest on CTF maps.
Each map has 4 categories for which you may submit a record:

  1. No Weapons � Pure ninja running and jumping skill.
  2. Laser - ONLY laser may be used for extra speed!
  3. Weapons - You may use any weapon available on the map to speed yourself along.
  4. Hook - Grappling hook ONLY, no weapons. Use your ninja rope!


The Rules:

  1. You may not alter the default Nexuiz physics/movement/weapon settings.
  2. You must have proof of your run in the form of a demo (.dem) or preferably a video (.avi), available somewhere for download. Screenshots will NOT be considered valid proof.
  3. You may not use strength.
  4. Your video must begin with you stationary. This is especially important for the no weapon modes.
  5. You may use godmode and impulse 99 for your run for convenience. However, your run must be possible without godmode, and may only use weapons available on the map.



Please attach a demo of your run with your post using the forum's attach feature.
List the map, category, and time in your post as well.

Please use the following naming convention on your files:
<your simplified name>-<simplified map name>-<category>-<time>

Example: z-zion-no_weapons-8.82.avi

All records will be kept updated in this first post, with embedded Youtube videos.

If you do not know how to/don't have the space to make a video of your run check out the [How-to] Create Videos of Yourself Playing Nexuiz and [How-to] Compress Your Videos. If you're having trouble ask an experienced member (nicely!) such as myself to assist you. The same goes for uploading your video on Youtube.
