I am a new mapmaker and i already made a few maps to test my mapping experience, but i would like to make an official map that i would release, but i havent got an idea for a map right now.<br />

Create a server with 8 bots on Bluesky. Go on the nexplatform and shoot every bot who is using that jumppad with a laser, mg, or shotgun. I do it cuz of my RSI. YOu don't have to move your arm much and you can play it with your other arm too.<br />

You can jump up and down with the jumppad too. It's the best Aimtrain IMO.]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[If your server isn't on a dedicated box running NOTHING else you may experiance latancy when apache pegs the CPU at 100% for days on end (you know, because new supporters are downloading your (truthful) propaganda... or maybe playing your web-terminal enabled little videogames... or apache has some bug... who knows) and this will kill any performance in the game.<br />
<br />
The soultion is RENICE (on linux boxes). But you restart your server sometimes, so the soultion becomes renice in a script placed in /etc/cron.hourly/<br />

			<description><![CDATA[ok i have made pk3 files many times before . here is the problem . nexuiz doesnt seem to pick up my bsp to play . in gtk i have named my map nb1 for beta and sorting purposes . i compile the map in the first {test} BSP vis light faster option . then i place nb1 bsp and other files gtk makes in a folder named nb1. ( i know i dont need all the files gtk makes ) . then i add the files which has my bsp srf mapinfo etc , to the archive in winrar . i compress it to zip , then rename it to pk3 . to test and make sure the pk3 work properly i remove the map folder from nexuiz / data . then place the pk3 in data to test . nexuiz doesnt find the bsp . i have double checked several times in every direction . two other friends have tested the pk3 and they have the same problem .i have even tried dropping the nb1.bsp in dta , no luck .but evryting is fine when i put the bsp in maps directory . i can test it then . either i am doing it wrong or gtk isnt making the bsp correctly . so im baffled . test it for your self or someone tell me im having a brainfart and to do XXXXX . please let it be something dumb on my part .<br />

			<description><![CDATA[Hello everyone i have a Mac and am having trouble finding games like nexuiz that are online and am able to download for free also like nexuiz if you know some games that you liked and are war like and free-roam can u post and tell me the website and stuff so that i can play it cause it is really annoying only being able to play 2 online games and i don't want to go buy them cause most of the good ones are not mac compatible my P.C. is in storage and the storage is packed full and its in back of the air conditioned storage unit so i cant get 2 it so this mac is all i got <br />

     So please help me out and give me some new games that i can play<br />

			<description><![CDATA[Well basically make a Miniman style laboratory. I've already started on an example map which I will post in a minute once the basic idea finishes compiling (with very badly scaled room size, because I'm lazy)<br />

Essentially my idea was to have a chemistry laboratory table with all the hazards and features that come with it. Bottles of acid and alkali, bunsen burners etc. <br />
<br />
On either side of the ends of this table there will be fume cupboards containing flags/bases.<br />
<br />
Evidently there can be many neat features and cool stuff if anyone is interested. I have lots of ideas. Here is roughly what the lab top itself looks like with a badly placed window, shelves and terrible room scaling as I said. I'll stick in the BSP file as well... Mediafire is taking its time uploading it so I will edit this post when its done.<br />

I started making a CTF map a couple days ago, With no past mapping  knowledge I dove right in with help from people on various IRC channels and online guides. It has a few problems with the textures/lighting/compiling but I think it would be a fun map in the end. I want to create a more sophisticated map eventually, but this map is meant to be simplistic. Your constructive opinions and help would be really appreciated.<br />

			<description><![CDATA[I posted this idea because I can't get MacRadiant to work, and if an experienced mapper needs an idea... here it is!<br />
Ok, I got the idea of this map from Moo's map "HighTide". This design is two massive ships, pirate style, which move across a massive sea right next to eachother. The movement of the ships is said  by green arrows in maplayout.jpg so that the map doesn't go forever. I didn't draw the mast(s) because it would be kinda hard, but in one of the pictures the mast is said as a big circle. The ships should be identical, accept for mast color.<br />
KEY:<br />
filled in  red/green square - 25 armor(green)/health(red)<br />
not filled in red square - 1 health units<br />
light blue square - Weapon<br />
yellow square - Ammo (assumed to be same as weapon next to it)<br />
grey - Staircase<br />
green circle - 100 armor<br />
blue circle - Flag<br />
PICTURE DESCRIPTIONS:<br />
ship1: side view of ship w/ small descriptions of each level. top level area is a MG at the top, the line w/a circle is the helm of the ship. then a crylink near the mast. lvl 2 - just the flag in the middle, 25 health's behind the stairs lvl 3 - mortar at one side, and electro at other side. with their ammo. and a hole leading to the bottom level (should have a ladder in the hole in order to get back up. lvl 4 - Nex at bottom in a box with 2 of its ammo sitting next to it, 2 barrels also in the bottom.<br />

shiplvl1: shows location of stairs leading up above captain's quarters, and to the flag level and where mast base should be. the thick line is a door leading to captain's quarters<br />

shiplvl2: nothing needs describing<br />
<br />
shiplvl3: mortar and electro are at sides, but RL is behind the stairs, a green arrow shows the direction that the stairs should be directed in. the black squares are the holes to the bottom level. THERE SHOULD BE CANNON HOLES IN THE SIDE OF THAT PART OF THE SHIP! (but with no cannons... RL is the cannon)<br />

shiplvl4: not much to say, but brown circles are barrels and brown box is the nex box.<br />
