I think we need a special page or maybe a new forum for Ninja School. I would suggest breaking it into 5 sections. Here are examples.

Okay dokey. How familiar with html are you? I can setup http://training.nexuizninjaz.com and you can forward nexuiztraining.com to it. I will make a framework for it, and give you the login to fill the information. Does this sound reasonable?

What CMS are you using for this site? Drupal?

I'm actually not using any CMS as I was hoping to integrate everything into the mybb framework at some point. I haven't had much time to get my head into under my current conditions with the holidays but when I get back I should. Because of the lack of a CMS of any sort however, it's hard for me to give editing rights to anyone without compromising the database security. Perhaps I should just hack this into drupal for the time being. I'll look into the bridge.

Try to catch me on IRC later so we can discuss all this (both aot and doku).


EDIT: I just did some research for the bridge... the only thing I was able to pull up was a half complete mybb plugin that the author says is not ready for the production environment. That's rather disappointing. For the time being, I have set AOT up with the login information for the training page, which will have to be manually updated for the time being. I'll look into the bridge plugin a bit later and see what I can do. I have to do some family things for now though, bbl.

Now that we have a server in Washington DC that's a decent ping for people across the country and in Europe, I'd like to start thinking about training classes again.

I'd like to offer myself as a teacher for a movement / item strings / ctf tactics class.

I could also be a teacher. I would specialize in map movement(trick jumps)/map item strings/map routes/spawn points.

Sounds good! I'm overloaded with work until the new year, but I will try to help if I can.

I would suggest that someone test out the teacher mod to make sure it is working with the server and with 2.4.2 and SVN clients. I think the last time I used the teacher mod was with Nexuiz 2.4.0.

I can offer myself as a teacher about prediction, sounds, movement, etc. in my spare time.
