I'm using mIRC but I believe xchat has the option as well.

Most certainly.

Make sure the channel you want to add is in focus. On your mIRC 'Favorites' menu, select 'Add to Favorites'.

Check the 'Join on connect' box in the 'Options' section.

Fill out any other information you'd like, such as network.

Chat zilla also allows auto join.

Basicly every irc client should have autojoin :)
