here is a water tower I made . i have included a custom texture with it for the red and white checkered look and also the Nexuiz promo logo . the other is textured using the dsi textures from gtk radiant . also you can either delete the sign and use nexuiz logo as a texture for the tank . or just use your own colors . the download includes the grey one pictured . the checkered on is what you can do with the textures included . i kept it grey because it is more fitting to nexuiz .

How did you make that ball?
the "Ball " is actually 3 peices
1. I draw a square brush equal on all sides . then while the brush is still selected , i use /curve/cylinder .
2 i deselect that . then draw another brush the same size as before then i use /curve/cone
While the peice is still selected i will then press "V" to bring up the vertex option . you will see little dots which create a wireframe around your texture . these dots can be manipulted to create interesting shapes . in this case i wanted more of a " Ball " look . so all i did was move the dots on the side veiw panels up a couple of quake units .
after that i just press the space bar to copy the top dome part , flip it , and move it to the bottom to finish the "Ball " . hope this helps , enjoy :)

That is pretty easy when you say it and harder in real, i once tried and only saw a piece of the curved thingy, how comes?
the peice you are talking about is the whole thing actually . when you make a shape from the curve menu it will only show the outside of a cylinder . try it again and look at it from all angles and you will see that it shows everything but the inside of the cylinder . you can make it where it shows the inside as well . simply copy the existing shape and go to /curve/matrix/invert . this basically flips the visible part over .
