Hi everyone,

Well, i've been at it again all night and all day, and have finally come-up with some new sounds.

Installation: Check my Signature for "Tenshihan-V3.5.pk3", download it, (RENAME the extension to ".pk3" INSTEAD OF: ".zip") and then just place my soundpack into your "Nexuiz/data" folder. Start-up your game and you're good to go! :)

Tenshihan-V3.5:

Release date: Sept 23, 2008

* ALL NEW CTF and Domination sounds! (Play to hear them!) ;)

* Gave the power-up 'STRENGTH' some extra OOMPH.

* Fixed the 'Jump-Pad' sound so it doesn't hurt the ears anymore, and gave it some nice deep resonance.

* New shotgun sound...clearer, suits the default model better.

* "Yoda" Announcer clip saying "Did Yoda show you that?" Has been changed to "Amazing". I got fed up of hearing that players were mis-understanding what was said, so I simplified it.

* Footsteps = Are now MONO so you can better pinpoint where your opponents are.

* 'Laser-Impact' and 'Nex-Impact' sounds now have a nice Sizzle-burning sound added. ;)

Still Included:

* Crylink_fire = Enhanced with resonating electrical fizzleness.

* Electro_bounce = Now it sounds like a ball of sparkling electrical PLASMA, and NOT a damn huge-ass glass marble.

* Mortar "Grenade_bounce" = Old heavier sounds put back in. No more clangy 'fork on a tin-can' sound.

* Mortar "Grenade_fire" = Deeper sound.

* Hagar_fire = Sharper, clearer sound. No longer distorted.

* Hook_fire = Updated to sound like the energy-based Tractor-beam it IS.

* Lasergun_fire = Enhanced the sound, shortened it.

* LaserImpact = Shorter, less distracting.

* NexFire = Quieter, dropped the treble so your ears don't bleed anymore.

* Rocket_Fire = Sampled from a REAL Rocket-Launcher, ...MUCH more aggressive and bolder sound.

* Rocket_Impact = Mixed from three sources to blow your damn ears.

* Shotgun_fire = I recorded this shotgun myself at the Gun-Range. (As of V3.4 added some extra effects in afterwards)

* Uzi_fire = Added a bullet-casing sound at the end of the soundwave.

* 'Hit' sound now has a combination of my 'pre-gib' and the original (back by popular demand) ..Turned out great. ;)

I love the new sounds, but it takes a while to get used to it.

Yeah, at first, change is always weird, but surely you will adjust my friend, ...everyone has been asking for some NEW sounds - because so many of the other sounds are repeated for different things, ...just give it some time, my brother, after a while they WILL grow on you! :)

cant wait to get home and try them =)
I just love the hook, thats a great sound.
How do you turn footsteps on?
i cant get it to work i renamed it and it didnt work i extracted it and it still didnt work =(
I really liked it. I have tried other sounds packs and nothing compares to this one. Very loud and clear. I am gunna try it out for a while.

Thanks about the Hook-sound, bro! That took a while to develop, (5 or 6 versions to get it right) so it's nice to know it's appreciated. :)

Footsteps are a Mutator that you have to choose from the Menu before you start a game.

When you start your game, go to 'Multiplayer', then go to 'Create' and you will see the 'Mutator' option at the bottom right of your screen.

Hmmn, ...Try the process over again, fresh. Maybe the first time - you possibly got a bad download?

Can you list your installation process please? I'm sure it's a minor thing missing.
