Nexuiz Ninjaz - Practicing the Ninja Art of Nexuiz

Hi Team,

The usual forums on AlienTrap are great for the Public, ...but you guys are part of the Development-Team, and so I really want YOUR professional feedback most of all.

I'm not sure how many of you have tried my most recent soundpack, (Tenshihan V3.3)

I've tried pretty hard to clean up all the sound and make the files smaller and easier to trigger, ...anything to minimize lagg in the game.

I just wanted to know if you guys like everything, and/or suggestions to rework stuff, ...any positive criticism is definitely needed.

My Current projects are on 'Player-sounds', and 'CTF sounds', ...I THINK the weapons are good now, but again, I wanted to know what YOU guys thought.

PS: I'm a bit behind schedule since 'Hurricane Ike' has killed power to my GirlFriends place in Houston, Texas, so I'm kinda concerned over THAT more than anything right now...hope you all understand if i'm late in replies...

well, im not professional but i would be happy to give feedback. when i download the pk3 where do i put it for it to work in the game. (sorry for my ignorance, as i said i am not at all professional)

pk3's go in your Nexuiz/data directory, just like maps.

I've been using this for a few days. I'm pleased so far. The grapple sound is a little sharp and gets on my nerves after I continuously fire it but that's my only gripe thus far.

I'm on my way out the door but I'll try to give you more feedback later.

Okay, I really like everything about this except the nex how the sound cuts off because its too long and the electro is way softer then all the other weapons.

ill download it to, but i have one question, when i open nexuiz it says "Welcome to nexuiz" how comes?

"welcome to nexuiz" has always arrived in the beginning, no?

As far as I know and as long as I've played, this is true. This is how I know my sound is working when I open the game ;o)

With me it never said "welcome to nexuiz" untill a few weeks ago.

With my brother it doesnt show up.

I've redone the Hook-Grapple at your request, and now it sounds a lot better, ...much shorter and I dropped the high-end Treble so it's no longer sharp on the ears.

As for the Hurricane, my GF is ok now, ...she has power back at her apartment, so all is good, thanks for your wishes! :)

Later on I will be uploading my newest soundfix, (Right now it seems that Blubs "Nexuix-files" host-site is down?) Hopefully you will like version 3.4!
