one question: when i type cl_capturevideo 1..nexuiz (svn) is recording but i have only 3-15 fps !
i tryed all settings which cl_capturevideo_... but it doesnt work :(
maybe cause my processor i have an old one with 2.21 gh but graphic-card is new and ive 2gb ddr2-800 (500gb harddisk + 80gb+ 250gb)

First, you need to turn on cl_autodemo 1 or put it on in the menu. If you had a great match, you have a demo of that. I would rename that demo, but that's your own decision. I always use match1, match2, match3 etc. And frag1, frag2, frag3, like that.

Then you must type ply <demoname>. Example:
ply frag2.dem. Then you record by using cl_capturevideo 1. After that, you use cl_capturevideo 0 to stop recording.

yeah at first record demos and capture the video Offline, anyway if i use Ultimate i get 3 fps also :P so it lags a bit while you capture the vid but it won't lag in the video

yes but with demos the same i got 5fps...im going to make a extra config.cfg with low settings ....

im recording demos with slowmo 0.8 than the fps are between 15-25 thats enough thx for help! but idont know which commands i need fpr play back or go to a time in the demo...

I don't know about the comment for going to a specific point.

if you nearly know the time where it is you can use slowmo 1+x (~ about 10 is good) for watching it faster
you can give me your demo too and tell me what to capture.. ;D
