The Clan Match Round Robin
How it works/What it is:
A round robin format is one of the best choices for developing the league schedule. The round
robin format will place each team in a match against all of the other competing teams. This allows
for an increased social interaction among teams as well as providing a fair and equitable way for
determining winners and runners-up at the conclusion of the season.

If anyone has any feedback, ideas etc please, tell me. Should I even bother trying to do it?
That's a good idea. Could create a simple league table to improve activity and promote fun? Or will it boost hatred ?
Something like, 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and no point for a loss.
Just throwing balls here.
However, it will be hard to arrange lots of matches, getting players available to play. e.g 5v5. only 4 can make it, then match is delayed for an hour because the 4th person haven't turned up yet or one person didn't press F4 yet. So rules need to be made, something like the match is forfeit if match is delayed for 30 mins. This needs to be organised effectively in order for those ideas to work.
I am not totally against an idea like this, but I have my doubts about this since we've all been having problems with simply organizing matches lately. I couldn't organize any [o]s for a scrimmage match last weekend just because people were busy. Shaggy, you've had a couple of recent experiences where not enough GT members showed up to scheduled clan matches, and MiT also had that issue for their first scheduled clan match. It's tough. I know my life seems to be getting busier and busier lately and I'm having less time to spend helping to organize Nexuiz activity.
I believe things will come together with some time, but it really needs to happen in stages or we're setting ourselves up for failure. Let's aim for smaller, more achievable goals first. Let's have a few successful planned matches first (scrimmages or official). Hell, you we even do some Clan vs "the world" matches on BC30, just to keep the clans active. Let's get those done successfully first and then we'll see where to go from there.
Let's succesfully build one room before we try to build a house, ya know what I mean?
I just wanna make clear that I'm not shooting down this idea. I just think we need to work up to it.
Let's look at the current status of NA clans:
ev - only has two or three official members so far.
GT - after recent events, only has 3-4 active members right now?
prae - has 6 members right now, with about 4 that I see online regularly.
MiT - has 3 or 4 members I think, but they are a new clan
Militia - 7 members and they all seem to be active, from what I can tell.
Stroggs - has been inactive for a bit and has many inactive members, but recently scheduled a clan match with Militia soon.
optimal - 8 of us, but at least half of us have been relatively inactive lately. Some of the [o]s have just gotten busy with other things lately. We could still be up for maybe a 4v4 if we get enough notice ahead of time.
vortex - inficio is taking an extended break, but vortex still has maybe 6 active members right now?
Rev0 - dropped and remaining members *might* start another clan soon.
anole - dropped
tnt - dropped
Yeah. It can't be stuffed around like some of the clan matches lately.
A few rules (maybe):
1. If you're sort players you can:
A) Play without the players
B) Forfeit the match
2. If a clan is unable to make a match they must say so, two days before, if they fail to it will be a point deduction.
3. Each match will be a 3v3/4v4/5v5 (Still to be determined, it will probably be 4v4 though.)
4. There will need to be neutral referee/adjudicator who will report on the match results to ensure the real result isn't changed.
- He/she needs to be, either clan less or from a clan that isn't in the match.
Doku, you make a good point... But in the post above, if a clan with limited members join, and forfeit the match they loose a point, or they can play without the player.
So it even its self out, in a weird way.

This is a very good idea doku.
Please, lets do more scrims, especially those clan vs the world match ideas. That would be awesome.
I would like to be able to play in more scrims myself, even though I am clanless at the moment.
I didn't think the idea would be able to take off straight away, I expected some waiting time before we even got something like this going.
Though, I do think an ideal goal for this is to get, three active clans to participate in a 3 week trail. Results aren't official, it's just something for me and doku (if he'd like to help with this idea) to look at and get ideas from.
i.e.
[GT] - 1
[o] - 2
[M] - 3
All play each other once over the three weeks.
Week #1:
1v2
3 - Week off
Week #2:
3v2
1 - Week off
Week #3:
1v3
2 - Week off
I really like this idea. It sounds like a lot of fun, but it would be difficult to coordinate and organize it all. If it continued on a regular basis it would get easier and easier. I really hope it works out. Good idea Shaggy. :)
Matches should be twice a week if this happens, 5v5 format, if a team shows up with 4 they can do 4v4 if other team agrees, otherwise play a man down/forfeit, set map list of 5-6 maps, 50 points per cap would also be a nice rule change
