Alright, so Kyoman as you well know if you're reading this, is the video gallery on our website. It's not the best solution but it's a solution. I've overhauled ~30% of the crappy code but there's still plenty more that needs to be done. If you find any bugs, would like to request a feature or have a question, please post it in this thread. (If it's a serious bug, please PM me).
I have disabled a few things in kyoman while I give it a make-over (frontend and backend). I'll be away for thanksgiving for a few days but you should start seeing improved / new features within a week. If you have something you'd like to see in Kyoman, now is the best time as my head is in the code.
I'm plan on databasing the following:
- Date Submitted - auto
- Submitter - auto
- Video Title - text field
- Youtube URL - text field
- High-rez URL - text field
- Category - drop down
- Player Name - text field
- Other Players involved (if applicable) - text area
- Map Name - drop down (with various as an added option)
- Time (if applicable, this is for speed runs) - text field
- Rating - auto
- Comments
Please let me know if I have missed anything.
A description field would be nice, à la YouTube, so that the poster doesn't have to come back and add a comment to describe the video. I wonder if a demo URL would be useful as well.
ahh yes, good call... I'll see what I can do about integrating the attachment hook.. but I'm afraid that may have to be in version 2 as I don't know enough about the mybb framework yet. I don't want to waste time on that :). Good suggestions though pavlvs.
